Castle Howard is over 1000 acres. The driveway is 5 miles long. The 'pond' you see is actually flooded grounds and we had to take a detour to get in   The house has been the family home to the Howards for over 300 years and took 100 years to build   Entrance to the grounds, it's the old stable entrance     You walk about 1/3 of mile to get to the house                   The East Wing   Statue in the Boar Garden   Back of the West Wing   Side of East Wing.
