While were in Australia for almost three weeks, we only had a few days in Sydney as tourists. After returing to Bridget & Colin's house and dropping of the Ultra Classic, we took a train into the city. On our fist day, we visited the Powerhouse Museum, which is the former power plant for Sydney. It was an amazing place! We toured the Great Wall of China exhibit, and after spending the whole day there, we had only scratched the surface. This is a must see on our next trip for sure.
On our second day, we took a boat tour of the harbors that surround Sydney. After our tour, we went to the Sydney Aquarium. They have multiple tanks that you walk thru and under, actually becoming part of the exhibit. After that, we really became tourists and went to Sydney Wildlife World It was a great visit, and gave us our first sightings of Koala's, as well as many more animals you don't see in American zoo's

We took a boat tour of the harbor, starting at the Sydney Aquarium   This was the only overcast day on our whole trip   The replica of the ship used to film the Mel Gibson/Anthony Hopkins movie 'The Bounty'   Harbor Bridge                   Sydney Opera House   You can climb the bridge on a tour...look close and you can see people                   The Ulysses, a 192ft 'boat' owned by a New Zealand billionaire                                     Shark Island, one of the original prisons in the harbor   Sydney Needle   The opening from the harbor to the ocean                 You could take a thrill ride on one of these boats   They would take you on a high speed ride....   ...and then spin you around                 The Premier of New South Wales house   The Prime Minister of Australia has a residence here as well   The jet boats are highly maneuverable and can be reversed and brought to a complete stop within their own length from full speed!   ...that sounds like fun!             While we saw lots of kangaroos, we had to go to a zoo to see a koala
