Fuel Injectors and Pump

Fuel Injectors and Pump
I chose to use the stock fuel pump initially to get my car running.
Installing an aftermarket pump will be much easier to wire in.
I also chose to wire my engine for Sequential injection.
This will affect how you choose to wire your car, batch Fire or Sequential

INJECTORS

Each injector has 2 pins, one connects to the +13.8VINJ (it’s the RED +12V wire in the Haltech harness), and the other connects to the individual injector output wires from the E6K.

WIRING NOTE

To wire for sequential
Wire Injector '1' output to cyl 1
Wire Digital output '1' to cyl 2
Wire Injector '3' output to cyl 3
Wire Digital output '2' to cyl 4

FUEL PUMP I chose to have the Haltech control my stock fuel pump. I wired the relay supplied by Haltech in-between the stock +12V feed to the stock pump. The Toyota pump on the MR2 3S-GTE engine has two modes, High and Low. The stock ECU controls the mode based on demand. There are resistor packs that can be removed if you choose to bypass the dual mode system (suggested) and have the Haltech control the pump functionality.
I used the stock input wire to the pump. I installed a +12V feed directly from the engine compartment fuse block. I ran one end to the Relay controlled by the E6K.
First, you need to find the fuel pump relay. It's above the coil, on the left side of it.
Once you find the relay, unplug it's connecter from the resistor pack.
Once you have the plug in hand, locate the two BLUE/BLACK wires. You will need to use a Voltage Meter to determine which wire actually turns the pump on.
You can then cut the plug off and wire in the Haltech orange wire. Connect the one of the two Orange wires (doesn't matter) for the Fuel Pump Relay from the Haltech harness to the correct feed wire.
You can then completely remove the fuel pump relay and resistor from the circuit,
The plug looks like this. (Ignore the jumper, it’s how you bypass it w/o cutting the plug).
